Puzzling Flowers – Still Life series
This Puzzling series is dedicated to the reinterpretation of
some mainly Dutch or Flemish artists – Jan Davidsz de Heem,
Jan Brueghel, Balthasar van der Ast – specialized in still lifes
with floral subjects.
The transmutation of brush strokes into mosaic tiles is particularly
effective with the polychrome and baroque floral still lifes of the
Flemish masters.
